TimTim Hyland – President

Tim has been an independent insurance agent since 1980. In 1983, he founded what is now the Hyland Insurance Agency with his brother, Pat. In 1997, Tim started an agent’s network in Kentucky as a Master Agent within the national agent’s network known as SIAA. Made up of more than 135 agencies in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee, the network represents over $375,000,000 in written property and casualty premium. Currently, Tim serves in the capacity of Agency Member Consultant within the network. Based on 36 years of experience in the industry, he consults with and advises AHA members with respects to agency financial and operational development; employee and producer hiring; purchasing other agencies; marketing strategies; and building their agencies based on the guidelines outlined in the Best Practices of Independent Agencies.
Mary Ann Mary Ann Wesley – Vice President of Marketing & Agent Recruitment

Mary Ann joined AHA in 2012, signing more than 70 new agencies since. The premium volume within the network has more than doubled since bringing her on board. Her primary role is to find and qualify prospective members. Mary Ann covers the AHA territory of Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee, calling on both prospective and current members. Prior to joining AHA, Mary Ann spent 20 years with Paul Davis Restoration.

Heather has over 20 years of insurance experience and works with all AHA members to help develop their agencies. By regularly visiting our agents’ offices, she insures that all members are maximizing the total resources available through AHA. She also oversees the relationships with AHA’s partner carriers and works with our members on their production and loss results with each carrier.

Kelly has over 25 years of insurance experience, in not only commercial, but in personal and agency operations as well. Kelly assists agencies in the area of agency development which includes ongoing commercial training (Agency Orientations, Acord applications; Coverage reviews; Carrier appetite) utilizing both AHA Insurance Network and carrier resources.
LisaLisa Callahan—Access Plus Account Manager of Commercial Lines

Lisa has over 10 years of insurance experience with time spent in both the independent and direct writer industry.  She works closely with our partner agencies and partner carriers in the placement of commercial Access Plus accounts.  Lisa will also work with our partner agencies on the servicing of existing Access Plus accounts.
StephanieStephanie Wells- Access Plus Account Manager of Personal Lines

Stephanie is fully licensed and has nearly 15 years experience with both personal and commercial lines as a CSR and producer for independent agencies, two of which were AHA partners. She quotes and oversees the placement of all Personal Lines and Farm business through the AHA Access Plus facility. She is the primary contact for any questions or issues with the PL Rater, Personal Lines and Farm Business.
JerryJerry Thacker – Agency Sales Field Specialist
Jerry has 18 years’ experience in the insurance industry, graduating with a BS in Insurance and Risk Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Throughout his career, Jerry has worked as an agency commercial lines producer and agency manager, company territory field manager and an underwriter. Jerry is an active member of IIAK serving on numerous boards and committees. As the Agency Sales Field Specialist, Jerry will work with our agency’s producers to implement a strategic sales process that focuses predominantly on commercial lines. Working in the field, Jerry is able to provide ongoing mentorship and coaching to our agents and agency sales managers, helping with our agents to fully utilize AHA’s available resources.
